Becky is a graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta and has worked as an illustrator and graphic designer for over 20 years. She has created artwork for magazines, newspapers and a variety of clients. Her painting of a peregrine falcon was selected as the South Carolina Wildlife Federation Print of the Year in 1992. She provided illustrations for three children’s books entitled Make It Three, The Story of the CSS H. L. Hunley, Civil War Submarine (Sandlapper Publishing), Mr. Bud’s Country Store (Hidden Path Publications) and the most recent, Would You Salute? (Hidden Path Publications). In 2002, her illustrations and designs were selected to appear on the Lexington County Veterans Memorial Monument. Ms. Rickenbaker is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and works as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator.
